Hi Yumesh, in the interviews we don’t assume prior technical knowledge, we just look for people with a keen interest in the application of technology. However, prior technical knowledge would be beneficial and you should acknowledge them in the interview.
I see! I was quite curious to find out because my degree is in Mechatronics (combination of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics engineering) and although I am quite well-versed in programming, my knowledge of IT and its associated systems is very basic.
Many thanks for the insight!
I graduated with a BEng in Aerospace and also had limited knowledge of data and Forensic related programming languages. The Forensic Technology Graduate program is structured to develop these skills through out the program through training Bootcamp and on job training. Keeping this in mind the interviews are designed to explore your problem solving and analytical skills, along with the associated thought process rather than core technical expertise.
Excellent! Thank you very much for the clarification, I really do look forward to applying to the Graduate Scheme now.
